What a Black Belt means to me is that I worked hard on this goal and I achieved it so I don’t feel I did nothing and I don’t deserve it. Some things that karate has helped me do is to make more friends and just in general to be a better person. Karate has also helped me persevere and work harder, like when I came in last in swimming I didn’t give up and quit.

Amanda has worked very hard the past few months, to say the least …
She now is a “super ninja,” just like her brother, Mr. East.

One day she wants to be an actress, and her skills she can flaunt …
And if that doesn’t work, she could do her next choice: a super restaurant.

Her smile and her future are both so very bright …
She’s always talking of Mom and Dad and Patrick … it’s great to see a family so tight.
