Lifetime Goals: My lifetime goal is to get a good education, start my own company, and be able to retire while I’m still young. Also, I want to keep improving myself in everything I set my mind to, and always try to be the best I can be.
When I first started karate, I had also just started middle school in a different area, because I had just moved. Everything was new to me and I didn’t know anyone at school. When I started karate, I made friends right from the start. It also helped my self-confidence. I started becoming a better person than I was before, and made many friends. I owe this all to my karate teacher, Mr. Jones, and my family, who always support me. Getting my Black Belt, to me, means that I’m improving myself. It shows that I put all of my time and sacrificed some of my time for other things to earn it. It means that I have persevered and never quit on it, even when I felt like there was no time for it. When I get my Black Belt, I know that it shows that I have not stopped learning. I hope to continue learning and keep on doing karate. My Black Belt is just one small step in my life, but that one step shows that I can take millions more.

Andrew, as you’ve seen today, has some awesome physical tools.
But what sets him apart is his respect, effort, humility, and following the rules.

Andrew wants to run his own business, and retire while he’s young.
Knowing him, I’ll bet he makes it, and all the while having some fun.

Your future is bright ... everyone that meets you says, “Wow, what a great young man!”
You give us all hope, because if Andrew can’t do it, no one can.

I know these poems seem kind of goofy and lame …
But when you hit it big in business and football, I hope you remain the same.
