Hobbies: Football, guitar, girls
Favorite Foods: Steak, lobster, crab legs, sushi
Favorite Teams: Brentwood Bruins, Texas Longhorns, New England Patriots … in that order
Lifetime Goals: To be successful in something I love doing.
I started taking karate when I was five in Charleston, S.C. Right as I had started to embrace karate, we moved here to Nashville. For the past four or five years I have worked as hard as I know how. Playing football has not given me an excuse to slack off in my karate training. It has given me more motivation to succeed. They work hand in hand. Karate helps my balance, timing and coordination on the field and football helps my strength and endurance while in the dojo. Getting my Black Belt would mean that the past 10 years I have spent training would not be in vain.

Andrew is a big, strong, cool, nice, good-looking guy …
He must have gotten all this from his brother, Aidan Sligh.

He lists lobster, crab legs and sushi as some of his favorite eats …
He definitely has been listening to Mr. Jones in class, because those are some of his favorite treats!

If you look at football star Andrew, you can tell he can lift a lot with the barbell curl …
He’s also the only Black Belt that said his hobby was “girls.”

I know Greg and Maryanne are very proud of their young man …
I want you to know that I’m also one of Andrew’s biggest fans.

He’s done something unusual … He’s starting to give teenagers a good name!
He’s shown that they can have respect, effort, discipline … and Andrew, you’re the one to blame.
