| Karate has helped me in many ways. It has helped me develop physically. It helps me stay fit all year so that I can do other things that I love to do. Karate has also helped me mentally. I now try to think about doing good things more often. I want that to be a part of my life. Karate also has helped me be more aware of my surroundings. Before I started karate, I did not notice things as much as I do now. I am proud to be asked to test for Black Belt. It is an honor to even be asked to be in the test. I know that it will help me when I get ready to apply to colleges. It shows that I have perseverance. It will look good when I apply to medical school. This is one of my goals that I am completing. Everyone I talk to always talks about how nice Mr. Jones is to them. My wrestling coach told me how he worked out with Mr. Jones and how nice he was. I don’t think that I would be who I am today without Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones cares about me and not just what I do in karate. One of the reasons that getting a Black Belt is important to me is because I respect Mr. Jones so much. I am proud to be a part of his “elite” Black Belt club. | ||
