Karate has done many good things for me. It has taught me the importance of respect, discipline, perseverance, and what it’s like to work hard. It has helped me learn to accomplish goals and to always have goals to work towards. Getting my Black Belt means success to a very big, long goal I have had. This accomplishment makes me very proud of myself. It also tells my parents thank you for spending their time and money towards my goal. It has helped me be more confident about myself. It has also helped me stay healthy and know what is healthy and what isn’t. It helps me be respectful towards my elders and has taught me good awareness. I want to thank Mr. Jones for making me a better person and for teaching me these morals. Mr. Jones is always patient with me, even though I can be very aggravating. I’ve enjoyed the time we spent together working on this goal.

Grant Scholl

Grant has grown up so fast, he’s like a giant totem pole!
I’d hate to have the food bill of parents Charlotte and Tim Scholl.

If he works hard in life, he might get really far …
Right now he loves sushi, ribs, and a jamming guitar!

I’m sure he’s had some challenges, his mom and dad will confide …
But in the end, Grant likes the words, “Roll Tide!”

I’m so proud of him for hanging in there and not giving up …
I know a lot of things in the world for him are exciting, like a newborn pup!

The Scholl family is truly an inspiration to everyone they know …
Thanks Grant, Katie, Tim and Charlotte … You’ve helped my life really grow!
