| Past Accomplishments: | I went with a group of 11 other boys up to Canada where we camped out in the wilderness for two weeks with no technology except for a satellite phone. I overcame my fear of roller coasters. I’ve played many years of sports including football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and now ultimate frisbee. | |
| Goals: | I want to continue with karate and see if I can make it to a second or third degree black belt. I am definitely going to finish school and I want to get married and have a few kids. I don’t know which college I want to go to or what I want to be when I grow up but I do want to have a happy life. | |
| A black belt is a symbol of hard work, perseverance, self control, maturity, self discipline, and pretty much everything that is taught in karate. You have to practice and work hard to achieve this goal. I see now why so many fail to reach this goal and just quit. It is not an easy task and you must have the determination to do it. When you get a black belt then you have achieved what so many others have not and that makes you special. | ||
