Getting a Black Belt to me is important because it is a way to spend time with my sons and exhibit leadership to them. I enjoy helping young people get better as people and to develop confidence and leadership skills. It has been a special time for me working with my son Bradley to achieve the rank of Black Belt. It is fun to help him learn how to achieve a difficult, long-term goal at an early age. It has been a great pleasure to work with and get to know all the students at our school. They are excellent examples of what karate is all about. We are all a reflection of Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones is the most consistent person I have ever met. In the four years I have known him, I have been amazed at his self-control and patience. I really believe in his entire program at the school.

Jerry has a new workout program that’s a lot of fun …
All you have to do all day is chase around his sons.

I’m sure Marion gets the best workout … she has to keep everybody flying …
You think it’s easy? … Try keeping up with Bradley, Andrew, Nathan and Ryan!

Jerry’s flexibility and attitude are both really great …
I knew from Day One that becoming an awesome Black Belt would be his fate.

Jerry, thanks for sharing your family with us for all these years…
It’s the joy of your success that has brought about these tears.

You are an inspiration to me, and everyone in karate class …
Your friendship and fellowship I hope will forever last.
