What a Black Belt means to me: Flash! Flashes surround me as a black piece of cloth ... Wait, no, it's a ... Black Belt! Tears of joy appear in my eyes as I receive that Black Belt, and people see me crying the tear of joy but I don't care, and they see in my tear something magical: all my sweat, my pride, my happiness, all the hard work that I have put into achieving this goal, all paid off. And I was ... finally ... happy ... That was just part of what I think of when I think about my test coming up. What getting a Black Belt means is that I have achieved a long-term goal and it shows people how much perseverance I have with goals. I want to be an example for all the younger belts at our dojo by showing respect, awareness, kindness and happiness. To show the real me is to act the way a Black Belt would behave in public. I want to thank Mr. Jones for being an awesome person and being patient with me since I was five years old! I can only hope to be like him in my old age. I also want to thank all the Black Belts that helped me during my training. Especially Mr. Bell for helping me every chance that he got out of his busy, BUSY schedule.

Sebastian said he wanted to be like me in his old age.
After hearing that, I guess I should get out the Ben-Gay.

I want to thank him for always having an upbeat attitude.
He's one of the coolest: he loves the Beatles and seafood!

Following in the footsteps of legendary Black Belt brother EJ Bell,
Sebastina has worked and worked, and kept getting up when he fell.

Thanks, Claudia and Paul, your boys helped make my life so much fun!.
Their happiness and enthusians, I hope, will never be undone.

Sebatian said he wants to be an example to the younger belts.
Not a better young man could they look up to, I have always felt.

Thanks, Sebastian, we'll now refer to you as "Mr. Bell."
A title you will live up to, as time will tell.
