The Ballad of Steve Camp

There used to be a chubby little boy in class …
But he grew up strong, and he grew up fast.
His future is brighter than the brightest lamp …
That awesome young man’s name is Steve Camp.
Prouder parents there couldn’t be, than Sharon and Rich …
Their son is growing up, and the emotions are mixed.
He’s done a lot in his young life, don’t you know …
He is famous around the world for his karate video.
He can’t ever be accused of being lazy …
He’s even been on the mat with a punk named Gracie.
Steve’s got such a great future, he hasn’t even started yet ..
He’s already been at the control of a super fast jet!
He knows how to work hard, and that life’s not free …
That’s one of the reasons he’s an awesome 2nd Degree.
He’s working toward college, which will make life sweeter …
Saving the big bucks he earns from Harris Teeter.
Thank you, Sharon and Rich, for sharing your son these past few years …
All of us at the karate school share your joy and your tears.
The future we can’t predict, it’s out of our hands …
But one thing’s for sure, Steve Camp is an awesome young man!
